Chennai: As political parties are yet to decide on alliance for the forthcoming Assembly election in the State, the AIADMK went one step ahead by discussing poll strategies and the election manifesto.
The party's election manifesto committee met on Thursday to finalise the draft manifesto. The committee consisting of senior Ministers, including O Panneerselvam, Natham R Viswanathan, R Vaithilingam, Edappadi K Palaniswami and P Palaniappan and senior party leaders S Ponnaiyan and Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha S Thambidurai and IT wing secretary ‘Aspire’ Swaminathan met for around five and half hours to finalise the suggestions.
The party supremo and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had constituted the committee to study previous manifestoes and get suggestions from former officials of various departments and the people.
